I found myself in the heart of Brick Lane at Tent London in The Old Truman Brewery this weekend for the latest contemporary interiors show. I love the contrast that this neighbourhood has – you can do the ‘urban walk’ around these streets and never know what you might come across next. Take this guy who just took it upon himself to give us a tune on a piano that was for sale in his lock-up off the street.
A friend of mine, Penelope Sacorafou has an original website called foxandsquirrel.com. They organise bespoke lifestyle walks around the capital such as photography walks, vintage walks led by vintage specialists, food walks and even an online fashion walk for those of us who don’t live in the capital. Each one is led by a creative specialist and well worth giving a go – they even have an Oscar Wilde walk!
